@184 What do you think of this OP? I'd like to know if any studies have been done into it's tactical efficacy in a Real Combat Scenario.

Which Way Weary Clown?

Is it still an art form that is sincerely engaged with? To me clowns seem to exist only as objects of fear, subjects of memery or vessels for twisted freaking cycle paths. What does the future hold for the art of clowning? Is it destined to go the way of the dodo? Or is it giving birth to something new?

@23 i can't help but feel as though it was the mystique of a clown that gave clowning its power, a mystique i feel is gone todays in many ways. I pray that it gives birth to something new that is able to work in this modern age of information, but i cant help but feel negative about it...

@23 ive tried to think about what the closest analogue to clowning of our time is... some are keeping the trade alive of course but there is no denying it as something that feels muchly confined to the past - which i think is what allows the Clown to drift from a subject of mirth and merriment to a terrifying terrifier. is a stand up comedian a clown? is an internet troll a clown?

from: Anonymous

i dont think trolls are clowns not enough mirth and not enough terror either
